Meet Zuu – The Cat Who Is Fed Up With Life And Constantly Disappointed In Everything
Some cats are cute, some are funny, and a few somehow become full-blown internet personalities. Zuu falls squarely into that last category, with a round, fluffy look and a permanently unimpressed expression that makes him impossible to ignore.
He lives with another cat named Bocco, and together the pair have turned their owner’s Instagram into a steady stream of feline photos. Between Zuu’s grumpy charm and Bocco’s quieter presence, it is easy to see why so many people keep following along.
Here is the full story behind the cat who looks like he has already had enough of everything.
Chika is the owner of both Bocco and Zuu; she goes by the handle pechanko_bocco on Instagram.

She has already uploaded over 1,720 posts about her cats on Instagram, and she continues to do so regularly.

The account has already amassed over 33,400 followers and counting.

Their photos have clearly found an audience.
Bocco is an Exotic Shorthair, while Zuu is an Exotic Longhair; they are both males.

Zuu is a bit younger than Bocco, as he was born on August 21, 2017, while Bocco was born on June 26, 2016.

This fed-up cat energy is the opposite of Moggy’s heartwarming support for his deaf owner.
During an exclusive interview, Zuu and Bocco’s owner, Chika, told Bored Panda that her two cats “sleep all day long while I’m at work — I assume that they sleep around 20 hours a day.”

“Bocco is a shy boy and not used to strangers, but he loves getting a massage from me and follows me around everywhere in the house. He also used to be good friends with the hedgehogs that I used to have...”

“...Zuu is more open to others and is not afraid of dogs that he meets in the park.”

Chika also shared with Bored Panda: “I used to upload pictures of my hedgehogs on Instagram, so it was kind of a natural thing to do for my cats as well...”

“...I’m really surprised that we are gaining so many followers recently. I am very happy when I see positive comments that say the pictures made them smile, for that is also how I feel when looking at them.”

“Since the cats have flat faces, I need to wipe their tear stains off every day. Their tears are brown, which is typical for their breed,”

“Also, they are super lazy and won’t eat by themselves. I need to bring the food pellets to their mouths...”

“...I do leave some food so that they can eat when I am late coming home from work, but they just keep waiting for me to return and feed them with my own hands.”

“They eat human-grade, grain-free cat food. They also take some supplements.”
