20 Horrible Movies That People Decided Are The Worst Movies Of All Time

Before we look at these painful movies, what's the best movie you've watched that you won't mind watching again? For me, that movie has to be Beetlejuice, 1988.

I absolutely love the movie and don't e en know how to explain why! In 1988, Tim Burton brought Beetlejuice to life with a budget of $15 million.

Today Beetlejuice ranks at 7.5 on IMDB.

The movie Cats from 2019 had a budget of $80-$100 million, and its ranking on IMDB is 2.8.

The point I'm trying to make is that high budgets don't necessarily mean that movie would be awesome. A blockbuster needs more than just a budget and pretty faces to work its magic.

I think the fault lies in movie trailers, honestly. There are so many movies that are completely different from their trailers.

Take an example of Suicide Squad. The trailer is all about Jared Leto's character as the Joker.

Take one look at the trailer and you get the feeling that the Joker would be the center of attention, but in the movie, Jared actually has very little screen time as the Joker.

According to rumors, Jared wasn't happy about it because he felt viewers would think they were tricked by the film's marketing into watching the movie. I agree, we were pissed.

Nevertheless, here are 20 horrible movies of all time and their review on IMDB, in case you'd like to treat a special someone to a movie night they'll forever remember.

1. Home Alone 3 (1997)

Gonna go bury myself alive, I find that a preferably choice compared to finishing this.

The original Home Alones, while not anything great are still enjoyable and charming. This...this makes me want to blow my brains out.

2. The Love Guru (2008)

That was extremely painful to watch. I can't describe my feeling in English or even in my native language.

Watching this felt like giving a presentation for a hundred people while pooping and peeing in the same time and maintaing a creepy happy face.

3. The Slenderman (2018)

I just needed to see a few scenes to know it was bad.. I work at a theater so I had to check in on it and man... it was something of another breed.

If this was advertised Last minute as a comedy, it would be a lot more effective.

4. Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

I couldn't manage to watch it sober. Maybe if we get legal weed on South Dakota in July I will try it again.

Maybe its better with weed. That's the only way any 10s make sense.

5. King Arthur (2017)

Really,don't... just don't......

Was told review was to short so let me just add, terrible, horrible, boring, infantile, idiotic.

Watch the second hand on your clock for 126 minutes and you will be much more entertained.

6. Plan 9 from Outer Space (1957)

A friend invited me to see this movie at a local film festival. He claimed this would be the worst movie of all times.

He was right! They showed this film at midnight hour, and about half of the audience fell asleep until the end.

I managed to stay awake by watching the rest of the audience. But I have never regretted having seen this film, because I now keep a copy of it at home to get rid of uninvited guest.

7. Jack and Jill (2011)

Adam please try to be funny again. This hurt my soul to watch.

You made Al Pacino look like an idiot. I love you, but I am just dissapointed with you.

8. Epic Movie (2007)

I'll keep this short and sweet: under no circumstances must you watch this film.

1/10: Doesn't even deserve a proper review

9. Days (2020)

This hardly qualifies as a film. It's basically porn with some random cringey lines and scenes stringed together.

The actors can hardly even be called that and the direction is below amateur. The film essentially romanticizes kidnapping and rape too, and for that it should be ashamed.

This is truly the bottom of the barrel for 2020.

10. Battlefield Earth (2000)

I watched this with low expectations and was still disappointed! Craptacular in the extreme, it has no redeeming qualities.

11. Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 (2004)

This is the most mind numbing thing I've ever experienced.

Sedatives will soon go out of business, because all you need to banish insomnia is to watch even 10 minutes of this movie.

12. Dragonball Evolution (2009)

As a Dragon Ball fan this was clearly not anything even similar. As a movie fan, this was atrocious.

Its hard to understand what kind of drugs all the people involved were in

13. The VelociPastor (2017)

I wish there could be some authority who put people behind bars for making such horrible films. Top of that are those who write fakes reviews and give false ratings.

Delete this one.

14. Artemis Fowl (2020)

It's a lazy, stupid, extra childish, waste of brain cells, nonsensical sorry excuse of a movie...

It's really not worth anyone's time and most importantly money...

14. Artemis Fowl (2020)u/Bitter_Secretary_201

15. Mac And Me (1988)

They spent 13 million on this movie!? Bwahahahaha! It's so bad.

So bad...

16. The Happening (2008)

Nobody needs more information about how terrible this movie is. It is as bad as people say it is, and probably worse than that.

Its competition for the worse script and the worse dialogue ever!

Plus, the editing/pace is terrible, the casting insane and you don't even get a good Shaymalan twist!

17. Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010)

Words cannot describe how awful Birdemic: Shock and Terror really is. It's something you need to witness for yourself.

At least Troll 2 had some sort of production value - this movie features laughable acting, terrible special effects, shockingly horrible audio and only remnants of an actual story.

It's only redeeming quality is how jaw-droppingly bad it is. Why didn't I watch this with Rifftrax?

Why?

18. Space Jam 2 (2021)

LeBron is not MJ and this is a mess. Product placement over plot.

Kids wanted to leave 10 minutes in.

19. Cats (2019)

I never ever give a 1 star rating, having crawled out of the cinema after this monstrosity I had to give it the review it deserves.

I genuinely thought I had a migraine as the screen seemed out of focus and distorted, everyone else said the same.

A hideous movie, the visuals detracted from the music, which was half decent, some of the performances were dire. I hate to jump on the bandwagon, but the worst movie of 2019.

Sleepin_Dragon

19. Cats (2019)u/Bitter_Secretary_201

20. The Devil's Child (2021)

OMG!!! Can you say BORING, SLOW, STUPID, TEDIOUS and NO STORY LINE what so ever???

If you watch this dreck, you will. Only good thing was the creepy old house.

This could have been ok as a 15 min short, how did they get the money to make it 1 1/2 hours long? Your guess is as good is mine.

Skip IT.

In Summary...

Well, I guess that settles it. The next time you have an annoying guest at home, you know exactly what movie to pick from this best of the worst list.

I would be lying if I told you I've never watched any of the movies on this dreaded list. I thought the trailer was decent, but the movie itself was just painful.

Felt like my brain was trying to process huge chunks of broken grass. That too, is an understatement.

Which movie would you consider the worst of all time? Comment below.

BRB. Gotta pop a painkiller after this article.
