On a child's birthday, you'd expect to see a big cake. However, some parents happen to have children who are allergic to some foods, like this mom today who turned to Reddit for advice.

The mom believes preparing vegan foods alone is the only way her baby will enjoy the birthday. However, she's having trouble convincing her husband to go vegan for their child's sake.

And instead of letting his daughter have fun at her birthday celebration, the father prefers that his family members and other guests have access to normal birthday food. Normal is subjective.
