Illustrator's Pop Culture Paintings Are As Fascinating As They Are Unique

Mike Wehner quit his day job to write a novel and abruptly found himself sketching for hours on end in his free time (which he realized he had a lot of when he quit his job.) It wasn't all gloomy, though, because his art has really taken off.

His novel, The Girl Who Can Cook, a psychological thriller was released in May of 2018.​ His Etsy shop opened in 2017 though, and his pop culture paintings have drawn in thousands of followers on social media and devoted customers.

Wehner's paintings are abstract but distinct and totally incredible decor for any pop culture fan. While he has hundreds of incredible designs to choose from, we can't help but be drawn to his Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars pieces so that's what we wanted to share today!
