People Answer If Dogs That Go For Scraps Of Food Actually Still Hungry Or If They Just Eat Because It Is There

"I just wanted to help it get to the other side."
Erin Rodriguez was taking her son out for a stroll one day in his stroller. It was during her walk that she noticed a turtle that somehow ended up being stuck in the fence.
It was not a new sight for her. She has helped many such turtles before.
So, she paused a moment and thought to help the poor turtle move across the fence. Rodriguez goes on to narrate the event and said:
“I walked up to it and saw that its head and front legs were stuck in the fence. I'm pretty sure the turtle could have backed out, so I didn't think it was really stuck. I just wanted to help it get to the other side since I have seen it trying to go through before. It did not seem too concerned that I was there.”
Just as a clumsy habit, she took a photo of that turtle to show it to her husband later. As soon as she bent down to pick the turtle up, she realized that he has not been sitting here alone.
There was a huge sitting that was sitting under the turtle or rather the turtle was sitting on top of it.
But the turtle seemed okay sitting on top of it. Rodriguez told:
“I set the turtle back down and backed away. I was pretty shocked, and my heart probably stopped for a second.
She further added explaining her situation, "All of a sudden I felt adrenaline and like I had to save the turtle.” The snake and the turtle both seemed pretty calm and fine in the situation.
But Rodriguez was panicking and she wanted to rescue the turtle as well. So she proceeded ahead with her plan.
She was very careful not to disturb the snake. However, when the shovel came near, the snake quickly moved down the nearby hole.
Rodriguez was relieved that she was able to get the snake to a safe spot away from the fence and the snake. She shares, "I put the turtle down and it seemed to be completely unharmed, although a little scared by the commotion.”
After that, Rodriguez slowly processed what has just happened. She has just helped a turtle and encountered a venomous snake as well.
Since then, she has met neither of them again. However, now she is very careful whenever she is lifting a turtle and always checks for snakes underneath them.
