Pixar is well known for its notable animated feature films, and with Turning Red, the company proved once again that it is one of the top animation studios worldwide for a reason.

Turning Red chronicles the life of Mei Lee, a 13-year-old girl torn between the turbulence of her early years and being her mother's obedient daughter. However, all that is nothing compared to the struggles she faces when she discovers that she turns into a giant red panda whenever she’s feeling a burst of emotions.

There are many reasons Turning Red made waves at the box office after its release. From its plot to its casting and directing, this film is a masterpiece. 

Indeed fans worldwide have agreed that this animated movie brims over with creativity. And so do we.

Give us Sandra Oh anytime and any day. She never disappoints, just like she shines in her role as Meilin Lee’s overprotective mother, Ming.

Orion Lee voices Meilin Lee’s calm and relaxed dad Jin.

4. Priya was voiced by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan

You may know Maitreyi Ramakrishnan from the popular teen show “Never have I ever,” but you probably didn’t know she’s the voice behind Priya.
