The streets of Tokyo, Japan are busy and the competition for advertisements are no joke. Would be advertisers absolutely want to have their billboards popping on the crowded streets, but with that desire comes over-saturation and as we previously mentioned, standing apart from the crowd becomes quite the uphill battle.
Now, in the Shinjuku district, a hyper-realistic 3D billboard of a cat is so impressive that the entire world is talking about it!
Cross Shinjuku Vision is an advertising space located outside Shinjuku Station in Tokyo, Japan.
Placed squarely next to the Cross Shinjuku building is an absurdly enormous screen that covers an area of 154.7 square meters.
The technology is incredible, featuring 4K images and speakers with top tier technology, the cat is undeniably realistic and captivating pedestrians like never before.
MicroAd Digital Signage and Yunika Vision developed the cat for and under the supervision of Cross Space, who owns the building. Their goal is to display the "future of possibilities."
The screen used is a special 3D one and if you're interested in seeing it live and in person, it can be seen at the east exit square of Shinjuku Station.
On their website, Cross Shinjuku Vision says that around 190,000 people will pass by their billboard, dubbed the Shinjuku Cat, daily. Check it out in glorious action right here, right meow:
