Teefies: A Very Cute But Underappreciated Cat Feature

Cats are beloved animals and pets for many reasons, from physical attributes to personalities. We love their silly antics, their adorable ways of showing affection, their gorgeous coats of varying designs, their perfect toe beans, their soft little ears, and boopable noses.

One often overlooked and underappreciated feature is their cute little teeth, or teefies, as they’re more commonly and affectionately referred to. Because apparently, the human race just defaults to infantilizing cute little creatures no matter how pointy their fangs may be.

And I completely recognize the irony of calling teefies underappreciated when there’s a subreddit called r/teefies that is dedicated solely to sharing pictures and videos of the best wittle teefers cats have. However, there are other cat-related subreddits that have much more than the 318k members currently subscribed to r/teefies.

Regardless, it’s time to take a moment for yourself and enjoy some quality kitty cuteness, with an extra focus on those sharp but cute little teefies. It’s time to bring out some toothy smiles!
