It's still hard for them to do things that men do without thinking. And it's not just an evening walk through the park or going to a car in an empty parking lot.
Women face different challenges every single day, and they overcome them even though it is very hard to do. But they don't get any credit for it because most people believe it is not a big deal.
Well, when we say most people, we mean men. A Reddit user going by the name u/UnwantedJason asked: "What do women do that people don't realize it takes a lot of courage?"
Unfortunately, the answers that started coming in showed that some old fears are still present. It's rather disappointing because women in the 21st century shouldn't be afraid to speak their minds, do any job they want, or be judged if they don't want family or children.
Modern society is based on equal rights for all, and denying women some fundamental rights is out of the question. Or, at least, that's what we thought...
We have selected 20 of the most interesting replies that women have sent, and we hope you will find them interesting.

RedditBeing a woman is not easy, right? Both sexes have their demons and fears, society judgment, and prejudice. But a lot more is expected from women than men.
They have to work, give birth, raise kids, keep the family together…. While men should just "bring home the bacon."
It's no wonder that women are under pressure. Gender norms are outdated and don't have a place in our society. Everyone should be able to choose how they want to live without being judged by everyone.
But, of course, it's easier said than done. That's why we all need to put some effort into making it happen.
