Redditor's Boyfriend Constantly Uses Her Towels For His 3-Hour Baths, And Then Complains About Her "Wasting" Water On Washing Them

I think all of us have had an argument about some sort of cleaning task before.

Once again, we're here to share another AITA post that's been brought to Reddit by someone. If you're someone who usually reads our content, then you'd know we love to cover these Reddit posts just because they're always so interesting to read and look into; plus, we love highlighting some of the most awesome comments left on there.

I think it's also helpful if someone is in a similar situation and wants a few different perspectives because people usually justify their reasoning in the comments for their vote. Regardless, we thought this story would be a great addition to the rest of our AITA posts that we have gone over.

This one is about a girlfriend who ends up washing towels more than probably necessary due to her boyfriend dirtying them. However, it turns out that her boyfriend complained about how much she's spending on the water by washing the "unnecessary" towels.

Now many of us can probably relate to this because we've had similar arguments or situations about having to adjust what we are doing due to the increase in how much product we are using. Anyway, it's quite difficult to see who is truly right sometimes, but it seems like these Reddit comments got it all figured out.

Let's dive in and see what people had to say.

So here's how the post starts out. She explains what her boyfriend's situation is.

Then she goes on to explain the issue with the towel.

However, when he got the water bill he blamed her extra towels for why it was higher than normal.

She then said she told him how she felt, but obviously he didn't take it well.

Then she goes on to say that maybe his baths are the issue, but is she TA in this situation?

People started calling her husband a merman and they're also stumped on where a safe place to put her towel would be.

Seems like some people are wondering how they're even fighting if he's always in the bath.

Even with all the comments it's clear that the verdict is that OP is NTA.

This is absolutely true and I'd say he's probably the cause of it.

People came with a lot of concern and tried to get her to figure out a solution.

Some people even suggested bringing numbers into it to prove she's not using as much water as him.

It's clear that OP is NTA and that she and her husband probably need to figure out why the water bill is really high instead of pointing fingers. Ultimately it sounds like this wasn't a huge fight, and things are getting back to normal.
