Stephen King Wants To Write A Novel Featuring Jason Voorhees As The Main Character

There is no doubt that Jason Voorhees is one of the world's most prominent horror icons, and Stephen King is right up there alongside him. However, the pair have never really crossed paths.

Well, with any luck, that may change sometime soon. King recently took to Twitter to share his thoughts on Voorhees.

Specifically, King stated that he'd love to write a novel about Jason. He went on to say that Voorhees would be the main character in the book, which would be written in the first-person.

The plot would revolve around Voorhees' "hellish, existential" life of being killed at Camp Crystal Lake again and again. Sounds interesting!

King didn't elaborate on the specific events that would take place in the novel. However, there is no doubt the story would be unique.

There's no doubt that with his expertise, King could take the iconic Friday The 13th character to new heights. And fans are clinging to the hope that the novel might actually come to fruition.
