Artist Reimagines Star Wars Characters With Cute Matching Cats

Griz and Norm Lemay are Disney animators who had the brilliant idea to create a series of illustrations in which they combine their 2 favorite things: Star Wars and cats. While this might seem a bit odd, the genius artists perfectly picked out the ideal companion for each of their Star Wars characters.

Ray is paired up with a Bengal cat partner, both ready for life on a desert planet. Princess Leia has a magnificent fluffy, white kitty keeping her company.

A similar cat with black spots sits atop R2-D2. Padme Amidala partnered up with a serious black cat who seems ready to take on an entire army.
