Spoiled Dog Refuses To Eat Snow Cone Because It's The Wrong Flavor
When Lola, the rescue dog, was spayed, she suffered some rare complications that sadly left her unable to walk. The beautiful dog gradually recovered and was taken in by Big Hearts for Big Dogs.
Soon after, Lola went to a caring foster family who adored her and helped her with her special needs. The family fostered Lola for two years before deciding to adopt her.
Today, Lola lives with her family on a lovely farm filled with other rescue animals. Lola is full of character, and her family loves her to pieces.
"We have had her for six years, but she’s been ‘ours’ for four," Lola's mom, Annie Belanger Burley, said. "We have no clue how old she is, but she literally doesn’t age."
"She has the most amazing temperament, but she’s a total weirdo! She requires being tucked in at night."

"She’s goofy; she snores when she’s awake. Other dogs think she’s growling, but she’s really just breathing," Annie said. "She has looks that could kill—sometimes her happy face looks like her mean mug."
Lola's family loves to spoil her, and the pampered pooch is more than happy to oblige. One of her favorite treats is going out for snow cones.
"We go to Pelican Snowballs in North Fort Myers a few times a month," Annie said. "Her favorite flavor is chicken broth served with a Milk-Bone on top."

"When she gets excited, it’s usually in her eyes. She has a grumpy face the majority of the time."
Recently, Annie took Lola out for snow cones as usual, but Annie opted to get Lola a plain snow cone instead of her usual choice of chicken broth. Lola had an upset stomach the night before, so Annie figured it would be the safest option.

But Lola had other ideas. She sniffed the plain snow cone and then gave Annie the most unimpressed side-eye imaginable.

"She refused to eat it the entire way home and glared at me with her usual side-eye," Annie said.

Instead, Lola let the snow cone melt on the ride home in protest.

I mean, a girl wants what a girl wants, right?
