When Lil Bub left this earthly realm peacefully in her sleep the morning of December 1st, she left behind an incredible legacy of love, compassion, and education. The Internet sensation's unique appearance and life experience inspired millions of people all over the world and the mourning of her passing has been intense and widespread.

Lil Bub's family now hopes to ensure that Bub can watch over her fans and the cats in need of this world from space and since she was totally out of this world amazing, it only seems fitting.

Lil Bub's human companion and caretaker, Mike Bridavsky plans to work with Purdue University to send the late cat's ashes to orbit in space via satellite.

According to TMZ, Bridavsky intends to get assistance from Purdue University, because they operate an aerospace program and their animal hospital was frequently visited by Lil Bub.

But that's not all. Mike knows how much Bub's fans loved her so he wants them to be able to stay involved in her space journey.

TMZ reported:

Bub’s human says he wants to link her satellite to a website so people can track the cat’s location over Earth, and he even hopes to install a live feed on the craft so people can see Bub watching over them.

Perhaps one of the coolest ideas Mike has is some sort if a system that allows fans to automatically donate in her memory every time Lil Bub’s ashes complete a full rotation around the Earth.
