She and her 14-year-old son are Canadian, so weed is legal there. The OP only smokes once a week or twice if it's been rough.

She says that she started doing it roughly a year ago, but her teenage son absolutely hates it. Whenever the OP smokes, he starts complaining to her about it without giving any reason.

The OP has taken her time to explain to her son that she's aware of any medical issues that this may cause. Also, she has her reasoning for smoking weed, as it helps her when she's having a bad anxiety or depression episode.

Still, her son detested it and chose to lecture the OP about her smoking habits. So the OP decided to put her foot down and state her mind, but she feels she overdid it.
