The polar fox named Maciek was rescued in September of 2019 by the activists from Otwarte Klatki (Open Cages Poland). Since his rescue, the fox has been living in a home shelter where he has all the love and care he needs.
He lost one of his paws due to his former owners’ negligence, but that doesn’t prevent him from enjoying his new life far away from the fur farm and being his playful little self.
And this year, Maciek experienced snow for the first time in his life. His reaction was so heartwarming that his rescuers simply had to share the photos.

And he has every faith that his rescuers won’t stop until all the animals get what he was lucky enough to get—justice and best life.
