Goofy Dog Gets Caught In Slo-Mo While Playing Catch, And It's Absolutely Hilarious
Apollo is the kind of dog who turns every game into a full-body comedy routine. When the ball comes out, he commits with everything he has, even if catching it is not exactly his strong suit.
His owner, Kaity Kimball, has seen plenty of those determined attempts, and one slow-motion video captured just how funny they can be. Between the missed catches, the big effort, and Apollo's total confidence, the whole thing became an instant highlight.
Now his latest play session is getting attention for all the wrong, and very right, reasons.

It makes no difference how difficult the task is; no mountain is too high for Apollo to climb. During outdoor activities like playing catch, he's always relentless in getting the ball and finishing his task, despite his lack of natural talent for catching objects.
"He has actually never been able to play true 'fetch,'" Kaity said. "He can catch really big toys that are hard to miss. He has a plush pickle toy that's about the same size as him, and that's about the only thing he can catch on the first try."

Regardless, Apollo gives it his all with every throw of the ball. Although it may take him some time, the ball always finds its way into his mouth.
On a particular day, Apollo was itching to go out for some exercise. Suddenly, an idea popped into Kaity's head, she decided to capture his goofy attempts in slow motion.
At first, she didn't really know what to expect. But surprisingly, the video turned out to be an absolute rib-cracker.
In Kaity's words:
"I laughed really hard and sent the video to my whole family. They know how goofy Apollo can be, so that video is perfect."

The slow-motion effect made every miss amusing, and it took Apollo numerous tries to ultimately get the ball. On the other hand, Apollo was completely unconcerned, all that mattered was that he got his prized ball.
"Apollo is never embarrassed," Kaity said. "He marches to the beat of his own drum and forgets most things right after they happen. The only thing he doesn't forget is what time dinner is."
