When you allow people to walk all over you, they will take every opportunity to use it to their advantage. A 17-year-old Redditor almost got roped into babysitting her nieces and nephews.

OP, her twin sister Anna, and their older sisters Carly & Lilith all live with their parents. Lilith has three children, and Carly has two.

OP's older sisters do not pay rent or contribute to any of the household bills because they are unemployed. They have been relying on their mom to help with their children.

Their mom spoils the hell out of Lilith and Carly. OP's dad encourages his two older daughters to grow up but doesn't interfere because of how much his wife babies their two older daughters.

Tensions are at an all-time high with so many people in the house. Their dad suggested a vacation for all of them to get a little breather.

Lilith and Carly will go on a trip with their friends. OP and Anna will go on a separate vacation together.

Lilith and Carly agreed to hire and pay for a babysitter for their five children while they are away. They backed out when they saw how much they would be paying a sitter to take care of five children for seven days.
