Owner Abandons Sick Dog On The Street To Die, But This Girl Proves She Is A Fighter

Even with a critical illness and no food, Nora's will to live was just to strong.

Dogs have been known to bring joy into our lives. They are loyal companions, and we often view them as members of our family.

We feed them, shelter them, and even take them to the vet for regular check-ups and vaccinations. But sometimes, people can be neglectful and cruel to their furry friends.

We've seen cases of dogs being chained up outside in all weather conditions, left alone for days on end with no food or water. We've seen dogs who have been beaten and abused, left with scars both physical and mental.

But perhaps one of the most heartless acts is when an owner abandons their dog when they become sick or old. It's a fight for survival on the streets, and often, these dogs don't make it.

But this story is different. This story signifies the strength of the human-animal bond, and how even when people can be cruel, there are still those of us who will go above and beyond to help an animal in need.

Most importantly, It's about the strong desire to just simply "survive". It's the willingness to fight, even when all hope seems lost.

Nora was one of those dogs who was abandoned by her owner at a time she needed love and care the most. This poor baby was tossed out like a piece of rag to fend for herself just because she was sick.

However, her story has a miraculous ending thanks to decent humans who still believe in second chances.

Nora developed a case of Demodex mange. But instead of taking her to the vet for treatment, her owner abandoned her on the street as if her life had no value. 

With no one to care for Nora on the streets, her illness got worse as the days went by.  

Due to the scarcity of food, this poor girl was forced to expend all of her energy scavenging for the little she could find. Her mange became so bad that it caused secondary skin infections.

Fortunately, Avan North Animals learned about Nora and made an effort to assist her. Then again, she was incredibly clever and eluded capture numerous times. 

Eventually, a couple residing in Iran spotted the pooch and contacted the rescue team. They promised to adopt Nora if the rescue team helped save her life.

And after much perseverance, the team managed to wrangle Nora into their care and get her to a vet. Her skin had become as hard as a rock by the time she was rescued. 

The vet explained that Nora had the worst case of mange he had ever seen. In addition, she suffered from malnutrition and scabies.

Once the rescuers and medical personnel had Nora safely under their care, it was time to begin treating her mange. They managed her condition with antibiotics and painkillers. 

In addition, they had to administer regular medicinal baths to keep her in good health. The treatment softened her skin, allowing the potato-chip-looking scales to fall off.

Nora's skin was still raw beneath, but that would heal soon as she was a strong girl.

Nora was wrapped in blankets as she slept, keeping her warm all through the night. She had to wear protective clothing to keep the sun off her exposed flesh while she waited for her fur to grow.

Incredibly, Nora's condition swiftly improved thanks to the right medication and a healthy diet!

Nora's new family welcomed her into their home as soon as she was cleared by the doctor. The transformation of Nora from before to after is nothing short of a miracle.
