A father's ruthless game of betrayal.

The pain of betrayal is sharp, but when it emanates from one’s own kin, it cuts even deeper. Most wounds from the outside world may heal, but family transgressions can leave scars for lifetimes.
This tale of a father betraying his own biological daughter showcases the very epitome of such anguish.
Our narrator (OP) explained that during a messy divorce some 33 years ago, their mother narrowly escaped losing her home due to the deceptive ploys of her father. Fast forward to the present, and their father is still the same cold-hearted man that he used to be.
Apparently, OP's father, seeing that his business was going under, decided to make a quick sale. After their sister (his daughter) showed interest, he cooked the books and sold the business to her, making her believe it was still profitable.
As expected, the business folded under their sister's care. But a dispute began when she stopped making the agreed payments to their father.
Not only did OP's father sue their sister for the pending payments, but he sought to take custody of their mother's house (the same one he failed to get 33 years ago), which was now in their sister's name.
OP watched in disbelief as their father went through with suing his own child, even after fraudulently selling his dead business to her. Despite threats to cut him off, OP's dad was adamant about getting his pound of flesh.

While the commenters sympathize with OP’s sister for what she went through, they are glad to know that both of them have finally cut him off for good.
We do hope they can both focus more on healing. It’s never easy to stay sane after getting betrayed by your own blood.
