Roald Dahl’s is known for his whimsical children's fiction books, most famously The BFG, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda.

He was a creative, an innovator, a thinker, a true independent who followed no trends, but instead chose to forge his own path. He wrote about kindness, humility, friendship, and imagination. He taught important lessons, and almost 20 years after his death, his words are still hoping to teach and inform.

Along with fiction novels, Dahl wrote a personal essay hoping to teach and inform. He wrote about the tragic death of his daughter, Olivia, in 1962, who passed away from complications of the measles virus, urging people to vaccinate their children.
