The love a person has for their dog is unexplainable. For some people, their dog may be their best friend or become as close as family. 

There are many reasons why this is so, but top on our list is that they are the best companions ever. The extra boost of serotonin and oxytocin they offer also does help. 

Research also shows that having a dog can lengthen a person’s life and improve cognitive functions. That’s why one of the worst things a dog lover may ever pass through is losing their dog.

According to studies, some people may feel the same level of grief they would feel if they lost a family member when they lose their dogs

This just shows how deep the bond between a dog and its owner is. Some people go as far as giving their dogs burials to deal with the grief better or get closure.

Unfortunately, some dog owners never get closure after losing their dogs because of the circumstances surrounding the loss. For instance, if the dog goes missing it's difficult for owners to move on because they don’t know if their fur buddy is dead or alive.

Thankfully, stories like this don’t always end horribly, as some dog owners are lucky to be reunited with their dogs again.

Losing Kase

A woman from Lubbock, Texas, named Paula Williams,‎ shared that her dog Kase went missing for a whole month.

Good news

It took a month, but finally, there was good news to report. Kase was found by some people, wandering the streets in the neighborhood.

The kind individuals took the puppy in and gave him food before calling Paula to let her know Kase was safe.

Bringing Kase home

Paula was thrilled, but she could tell that her son would be even more excited to see Kase. So, she decided to surprise him with the good news. 

An august welcome

Paula informed her son that she had a big surprise for him. Although a little confused, he approached the car as she gestured to him.

Immediately the little boy saw his long-lost pup, he was stunned. The kid burst into tears and embraced Kase in a bear hug, even as he continued to chime the words, “I missed you.”

Memories for later

Paula caught the adorable moment that the pup and her son reunited on camera. She went on to share it on Facebook, receiving hundreds of likes and positive comments.

The video warmed the heart of viewers around the world, as it showcased genuine, unbridled love — something that the world needs in these tough times.

There’s nothing quite as lovely as watching the bond between a dog and its owner. There is no denying -it is capable of transforming a person from being someone indifferent about dogs to someone who swears by their supremacy.
