Pregnant Tabby Cat Rescued From A Kill Shelter Drools From Happiness While Waiting For Her Forever Home
Rosey the tabby cat has already beaten the odds once, and now she is waiting for the part that still feels out of reach, a forever home. After being rescued from Petersburg Animal Control and taken in by West End Cat Rescue, the young cat went from shelter stress to soaking up attention, even drooling when she is especially happy.
Her story is a reminder of how quickly a cat’s life can change with the right rescue. Rosey was pregnant when she arrived, gave birth to kittens who were quickly adopted, and then found herself still waiting while her babies moved on.
Now the affectionate tabby is hoping someone will see past the wait and choose her next. Read on.
Meet the gray and brown tabby cat named Rosey

Rosey was shy at first, but as time passed, she began to show her true personality as she let her guard down. It’s been years now since Rosey left the municipal grounds, and the timidness in her has faded away.

Rosey is an attention seeker."
West End Cat Rescue (WECR) gave her a new chance at life

Whenever she’s relaxed, Rosey's attractive, welcoming green eyes always persuade others to play with her. One of her favorite activities is to get her little legs in motion to find a place to vanish for a good game of hide and seek.
Rosey started showing off her personality

Vicky says that "Rosy knows how to hide, and you will never catch her because she is clever." Rosy loves to wag her short tail back and forth while Vicky and others who come into contact with this adorable kitty caress her silky coat.

"Rosey knows how to hide, and you will never find her"

The perfect home would be a place where Rosey is the only pet, as she is a more mature cat. She would thrive with parents who love pets and want to give her all the necessary rubs she can handle.
She's still hoping someone will provide her a forever home

Vicky added that "Rosey gets along with other cats, but not too many of them," and even though Rosey has not yet found a permanent home, she has many people who show her love and attention.
Rosey may not have a forever home yet, but she has many who care for her

Rosey hopes that someday someone will give her a forever home where she can be spoiled by eager cat parents. Although older cats adjust better to home life, have more predictable personalities, and do not require constant monitoring, many still do not want to adopt an adult cat.
Well, Rosey is now part of the four thousand felines saved by Vicky and her volunteers.
