Ah, to live in this life as a celebrity may be the dream for a lot of people, but being related to one of them also has its perks! It's a foolproof way of saying "Hey, I'm interesting!" once you spit out that fact into the world.
It's one thing to completely fangirl over someone famous and it's also one thing to see them in family reunions. You might begin to wonder how these people act in such proximity to someone you only see on TV and the big screens.
Most people are actually cool with it. Sometimes, they are also still lucky enough that these celebrities still attend their family functions, and just act like their old little selves without the spotlight being forced on them.
However, it can sometimes be a tad bit annoying if people are interested to befriend you once they realize you have a connection to a celebrity they have a crush on. Being related to someone famous can indeed have its perks, but it has some disadvantages as well—people seem to make your relation to them your only personality!
In the subreddit AskReddit, a user that goes by the handle u/LoveSimpleHacks asked: "Who is the most famous person in your family?" and well, sure enough, the people of Reddit delivered. Some of these aren't actually celebrities, but people who have made their way on to the top by some great things they did.
