People are legally allowed to install security cameras in their residences for video surveillance and protection. As long as the camera doesn't record anything private, even if they end up recording parts of your property through the camera's field of view, you can't demand them to remove it.
If you end up getting recorded within their property, even if you're not comfortable about it, you can't force your neighbor to get rid of their security gadget. The use of a security camera will only be illegal if it records footage within your home without your consent.
This story over at the "Am I The A**hole?" (AITA) subreddit shows the perfect example of legal security footage. Unfortunately, the neighbor of the camera's owner wants him to remove it.

RedditThe guy having a mistress is also a possibility. Otherwise, he wouldn't be this disturbed.
RedditThis guy has no right to remove an items that secures the OP's home. He's probably hiding something, that's why he's so bothered by ut.
RedditOP should say this:
RedditThe neighbor is so sus. Why is he so concerned about his wife getting recorded when the same thing happens in public spaces?
Now, the OP's property may not be a public space, but he has every right to keep his property secure. He's not breaking any law by installing the camera on his doorbell.
Moreover, the camera's field of view probably isn't reaching any of the neighbor's private areas. If the neighbor is so bothered by his wife getting filmed within the OP's property, then he can always tell his wife not to visit the OP's home.
