We are constantly amazed by the amazing diversity in nature and in the animal kingdom, but we often tend to forget how truly diverse and interesting we ourselves are. Humans are pretty awesome, our genes are so varied and they are sometimes expressed in the most impressive ways.
All it takes is for someone to take a closer look and point them out. You might not even know it, but your genes might make you a rare individual.
Lexi Slaven is a Florida-based content creator who goes by the username Yolkfather. She recently gained a lot of traction thanks to her not only educational but also fun videos on TikTok.
She started a TikTok series by the name ‘How rare are you?’ where she goes through some rare genetic traits that only a minority of people have.
We are all used to seeing some physical traits in ourselves and we never wonder if it is something exclusive to us and our gene pool or is it something truly unique. Anything else is pretty much not with concentrating on. I never thought these genetic facts were even rare, I always assumed there was a bigger population of every single one of those cases for some reason.
