Indonesian Photographer Captures Adorable Pictures Of Frogs Hugging In Rain

Ajar Setiadi is an Indonesian photographer who is known for his nature and wildlife photography. He has been interested in studying the life of wild reptiles and animals through the lens of his camera since he was a child.

He grew up in Bogor, Indonesia where this opportunity was available in abundance. He used his camera to record the lives of insects, lizards, snakes, birds, and frogs. He would spend hours, waiting, in search for the perfect moment to capture.

Over the years, with patience and perseverance, he has managed to capture some amazing photographs of these wild creatures in the moments that you don't usually get to see. His work speaks for himself.

The amount of time he has spent behind the camera has made him an expert in capturing the emotions of these wild creatures a that of human beings.

Setiadi's favorite subject is the white tree frogs in the rainy seasons. These frogs are also called dumpy tree frogs and they like to cover themselves with foliage whenever it rains.

At one such time, when it was raining, he saw a frog taking shelter under a flower that almost look like an umbrella.

He immediately took its picture. His experience has taught him how precious these small moments are.

Setiadi said, “I could only get a few frames because this moment can't be repeated.”

It requires keen observation and an eye for detail on top of patience to capture these moments.

Setiadi always finds the whole effort worthwhile. He says:

“I let [the animals] act. I'm just waiting for the best moment.”

He doesn't mind a little rain and dirt if he gets to watch the wonders of nature so closely.
