Texas Fawn and Friends, a non-profit organization helping orphaned and injured fawns as well as other animals, found Jasper, a newborn raccoon, clinging to life but was on the verge of death. He didn’t go back to his pack after he totally recovered.

Some people might ask why, and we’re here to tell you that Hope was the cause. Hope is a fawn who showed up shortly after Jasper was rescued.

Having lost her mother, the orphaned deer required assistance. She had sparked Jasper’s fire from their first encounter, so he made the decision to stick by her side. 

They quickly bonded together and saw one another as a family. Carie Long, who is the licensed wildlife rehabilitator of Texas Fawn and Friends, revealed that Hope and Jasper are in a relationship out of pure love and care.

Jasper rushes to embrace and lick her whenever and wherever he sees her. She searches for him at night and lies down close to him.

When he miraculously fully recovered, he didn’t return to his pack

The two animals were recorded on camera by the rescuers as they were lounging on the grass, and the footage was then uploaded to the organization's Instagram account, texasfawnandfriends. The video quickly became viral and received hundreds of thousands of views with over fifty-five thousand heart icons.

Those who saw Hope and Jasper couldn’t help but be moved by their sincere love for each other. They even wished they could visit Texas so they could meet this adorable animal couple.
