Volunteers Carried Out a Rescue Operation in a Breeding Farm and Saved 108 Abused Dogs
A puppy mill is one of the worst places for a dog. It is where our beloved canine friends are kept in dirty, cramped wire cages. In such an environment, dogs do not receive their basic needs. Puppy mill owners do not provide clean water or healthy food. They do not even bother to have these poor dogs checked by a veterinarian.
So when Operation Cavalier Rescue learned about an upcoming auction by a breeder involving 108 puppies, they had to plan a rescue. Their mission was to save these poor canines from being sold to puppy millers.
After the operation, the puppies who were neglected and abused will finally have a bright future waiting for them in their forever homes.
The poor puppies in an overcrowded wire cage.

A cruel breeder attempted to auction these lovely puppies off to puppy millers.

Most of the dogs had infections that resulted in deafness and blindness.

Many of them had feces all over their bodies.

Operation Cavalier Rescue raised funds for the mission to rescue the puppies at the soon-to-be-held auction. They sought help from the community.

In just 11 days, they raised over $200,000.

The operation will soon be underway.

Cavalier Rescue founder Angie Ingram and her team were overwhelmed by the amount of support coming from all over the world.

Finally, the puppies will be saved.

Their main objective was to not leave a single Cavalier behind, and they were successful.

The 108 dogs included 97 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, 7 Shibas, 2 Cocker Spaniels, a French Bulldog, a Shih Tzu, and a Yorkshire Terrier.

Tests, baths, and clean-ups were performed on the dogs before they were sent to their forever homes.

Many volunteer veterinarians helped the puppies recuperate.

Most of the pups were ill and dehydrated.

We hope they will arrive at their forever homes soon.

Once the dogs are feeling better, they can begin looking for their forever homes.

This doggo is ready to look for a forever home too!

The sweet puppies are now beginning to see hope.

For the first time in their lives, they finally feel loved.

They are now happy and healthy with their new owners.

Another dog will soon be in a forever home.

After being rescued, cared for, and sent to their new owners, it's safe to say these lovely dogs are forever thankful.
