Family Cat Crosses Path With An Enormous Owl And It's Unexpectedly Terrifying
Two animals tend to constantly appear in stories about magic and witchcraft: owls and cats. This might give one the impression that cats and owls are good friends—this story suggests otherwise.
Owls are birds of prey. They are excellent hunters, capable of swooping in to catch all kinds of small animals, anything from bugs to mice and even fish!
They possess extraordinary eyesight and hearing, which means they are often the superior predators. Owls also have an incredibly spooky way of demonstrating their dominance.
On the other hand, cats are well-known for their hunting abilities, and they are definitely nocturnal (if the cats doing 2 AM zoomies didn't suggest it...). Further evidence that cats and owls should be friends!
Alas, there is a video circulating of a poor cat falling victim to an owl’s intimidation technique—check it out below. If you were this cat, wouldn't you be terrified?
A lot of us tend to romanticize owls in a very Harry Potter-esque way...
I mean, can anyone hear Hedwig's Theme without crying?

But not all owls are like our hero Hedwig. Check out this scary video of an owl intimidating a cat!
Who knew they could do that with their wings?

They're... so big?
I feel silly for not knowing this, but like?!

I just straight up would not mess with an owl.

Here are some cute little ones to cheer you up again.
