These Oversized Cardboard “Milk Cartons” Are Wonderful Places For Cats To Sleep And Hang Out
Cats have a talent for turning the simplest object into a favorite hangout, and this story is a perfect example. A Swedish startup called Petbo took that idea and ran with it, creating a giant cardboard milk carton that gives cats a cozy place to nap, hide, and play.
The product was inspired by the founders’ own cats, who needed a better spot to settle in after being adopted. With its playful design and built-in scratch pad, the oversized carton has become a charming little retreat for curious pets.
And once you see it, it is hard not to picture a cat claiming it as their new favorite room.
Petbo's founders were inspired by their own cats to create this colorful sanctuary. They couldn’t find a suitable home for their newly adopted cats, so they decided to make one.
“Cats, being predators by nature,” they explain, “need a place to hide and observe their surroundings without being disturbed or noticed.” After some development and testing, they’ve perfected their product, and cats simply love it.
Customers can choose between two versions: a triangular design called “Pride” and a minimalist “Flower.” Both are foldable and come complete with a scratch pad.
