Picture this; a warm spring evening in 2000 and you're downloading *NSYNC's 'No Strings Attached' on iMesh/Napster/Limewire. The file-transfer has been running for over 3 hours.
It's now at 97% and you're excited. You get up to use the bathroom knowing that once you're back, the sweet, sweet sound of 'Bye Bye Bye' and 'It's Gonna Be Me' will be playing on your family computer speakers.
You walk through the living room and see your mother, she is talking to someone but she's alone in the room. You realise she is on the phone - it's a landline.
You RUN to the study, only to see the dreaded message across the 11' computer monitor screen, "file transfer interrupted, no internet connection'. She blew it.
You told her specifically not to use the phone until you were done, but that was almost 4 hours ago, she had forgotten and the last 200 minutes has been in total vain. There will be no *NSYNC tonight.
