25 Things We Do That Feel Are So Embarrassing But Are Actually Just Normal And Boring
Human as we are, we go through a wide range of emotions right from the very moment we set foot into this world, up until now that we are trying hard to be fully functional and productive adults. Most of us always want to feel the good ones, and would absolutely curve when met with an emotion other than happiness and relief.
It's understandable, though, because who would want to feel grief, disgust, fear, anger, and embarrassment constantly anyway? It takes up too much of our energy, and in this world wherein we are always expected to be on the move, it's quite easy to figure out why people are so avoidant of these negative emotions.
But each person has very different triggers, and what could anger some could only sadden others; what others find disgusting are what some people find fascinating. But if there is one thing that most people would agree on, it's that, there are just certain moments or things in life that are so embarrassing to do or so humiliating when it happens to us—even if that particular moment or thing can just be considered normal if we just stop being cowards about it.
We're sensitive beings, and there are things that we truly overthink about; making an experience a whole lot more embarrassing than it should be. That being said, when someone asked, “What is something that feels embarrassing to do, but shouldn’t feel that way because there’s nothing wrong with it?” in the Bored Panda community, people were quick to jump in and say their sentiments regarding this topic.
