A new baby can bring your life through a loop and it can make you have to adjust plans or cancel things, but this is normal.

Welcome back to another Reddit post that we'll be looking at today that was submitted by someone on the AITA thread. The AITA thread is super entertaining, and we love going over these posts to see what people have to say.
Now, having a baby is a huge change and blessing, and overall it can make you have to adjust some things in your life. However, this is all to be expected as the new parents are going through a huge transition and it takes some adjusting when you have a new family member added to your home.
This situation is brought to us by a Reddit user who explains that they are having a baby but that her parents want them to dogsit. She explains that she told her mother no because their daughter will be very, very young, and she doesn't necessarily want to dog sit right now due to that.
Ultimately, she wants to know if she's wrong for making this decision and turning down her mom when it comes to dogsitting. People had a lot to say in the comments, so we want to take a look at the original post and then see some of the best comments that were left on the post in response.
She started out the post by saying that they are expecting a baby soon and her mother asked them to watch her dogs.
mirandacosgrove6969She said that her and her husband politely declined as their daughter will be very young still.
mirandacosgrove6969Her mom responded negatively and immediately got upset, but she explained her situation.
mirandacosgrove6969Her sister did opt to take in their parent's dog, but it's not necessarily an ideal situation.
mirandacosgrove6969She says that her mom still was upset and started crying, but says that she should expect her parents to understand her situation.
mirandacosgrove6969The first comment says that she's NTA and dives into the details of her post and what she said the situation was.
whoknew65Then they continued with offering a bit of a solution for all of them.
whoknew65This comment said that they understand her and that 4 months is still very young. Regardless, her mom could still figure out another solution.
TheSA_NodeHonestly she could just find someone to board them. If they don't find someone to take them then that's a good option so they don't have to cancel their trip.
bureaucratic_driftThis comment had a lot to say but essentially said that OP is NTA. Stay tuned for the second part of this comment down below.
FairlyTastyThey encourage OP to not feel like the AH and also to not let her mom guilt trip her into thinking that she is.
FairlyTastyThis comment said it well. She has no idea how she'll be feeling and a 4 month old is still extremely young.
SirMittensOfTheHillUltimately this is what it's going to come down to.
11treetrunkPersonally I think that her mother is being quite selfish by not considering their situation.
Far-Cup9063This situation is pretty sad because OP is put in a hard situation, but everyone in the comment said that she was NTA in this scenario. She really should just talk to her mom and tell her why she can't watch the dog.
If her mom reacts negatively, then that's not her fault at all. OP is not at fault here.
