So with this all being said, we are diving into a post today that was submitted by a woman who said she left her baby shower because her husband's family threw her a baby shower for the wrong gender simply because they wanted her to have that gender instead.

This story sounds just as crazy as it seems, and we are sure that you're going to think it's even crazier after you hear what her husband and his family had to say. OP starts off her post explaining that she's expecting her first baby and that her in laws had a plan for the name if she ended up having a boy.

This is when she explains that she walked into her baby shower and she saw blue balloons and a baby shower that was for a gender that she wasn't having.

People quickly came to the comments to let her know that she wasn't in the wrong for this but that she also needs to reflect on her life.

People even went as far as telling her to divorce her husband because of how he is responding to this.

This person even came on to express how their parents wanted a boy, but she's a girl, and how she never really heard the end of this even though it wasn't at all her fault.

This is definitely what they could expect for the future because this is not at all okay and it's unfortunate that they are acting this way.

They do sound scary and honestly I would think that something was kind of wrong with them for them to think that this was acceptable in any way.

She does need to set her boundaries but also she needs to probably step away from this family because they are obviously not okay.

We do hope that OP is really considering where she's at right now and possibly leaving her husband. This whole situation is very alarming.

This is something that I'd want to know too because there's no way that normal people are partaking in this and not thinking anything of it.

This situation is very unfortunate, and we've never heard anything quite like this. We hate that OP is going through this, and we think that she really needs to step up and put up some boundaries with her husband and her husband's family.
