Every responsible homeowner should ensure that their trash gets properly collected by the waste management service. Once the trash has been collected, they also need to place the garbage can on their own property.

Unfortunately, some people aren't even ashamed of causing inconvenience to their neighbors. They don't bother moving their bin back within their property after the garbage has been collected.

A Redditor has this kind of irresponsible neighbor. So they decided to take matters into their own hands. They shared their story on the r/pettyrevenge.

The original poster (OP) tells the community that the homes in their area are close to each other. Because of this layout, the garbage collector tends to leave the neighbor's trash can in front of the OP's home.

Normally, this wouldn't be a problem. The neighbor can simply move it back within their property.

But they don't bother doing it, much to the annoyance of the OP. It was even in front of the OP's garage.

So, OP decided to take matters into their own hands. They loaded the trash can into the car and disposed of it in a big dumpster.

They opted not to talk with their neighbor because they'd heard that this neighbor had been in arguments with other people in the area. He even adds that the bin is originally his.
