People Create Memes In Response To Elon Musk's Shared Photo Of His Bedside Table, And Here Are 30 Of The Most Interesting Ones

Elon Musk tweeted a strange picture with the description "my bedside table," absolutely challenged by no one. A replica of George Washington's flintlock pistol is depicted in the image, along with a mountain of caffeine-free Diet Coke cans and a half-drunk bottle of water.

The box's lid features the well-known painting by Emanuel Leutze of Washington crossing the Delaware River. A Buddhist amulet and what looks to be a Diamond Back.357 revolver from the computer game "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" are also present.

A few books may be seen in the top-right corner. One of them appears to be the "Rules of Civility and Decent Behavior in Company and Conversation" of Washington.

It might be included in a collection of "Books of American Wisdom" that also includes Benjamin Franklin's "The Way of Wealth," the US Constitution, and the Declaration of Independence.

"There is no excuse for my lack of coasters," Musk wrote in a subsequent tweet. "Because obviously, it was the absence of coasters that caught everyone's eyes."

It's interesting to note that in the past, Musk has mentioned staying up late and drinking Diet Coke. These days, Musk is putting all of his efforts into growing Twitter, his latest business venture.

Musk said he has since tried to swap coffee for water. So at least that part of the photo might as well be natural.
