World Traveler Reveals The Most 'Annoying' Place Out Of 190 Countries

Luca Pferdmenges, a 22-year-old from Germany, has spent years exploring the globe, visiting an impressive 190 countries since he began his travels at just 15.

With nearly three million followers on TikTok, Luca has become a well-known travel content creator, sharing his adventures and insights with fans around the world.

However, despite his extensive travels, there's one country that stands out to him as the most "annoying" place he's ever been to.

In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Luca didn’t hold back when asked about the countries he found least appealing. “Egypt is the most annoying country for tourists, in my opinion,” he said, though he didn’t delve into specific reasons for this view.

His critique didn’t stop there. Luca went on to express his disappointment with other popular tourist destinations, saying, "Egypt, France, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, most of the Caribbean Lesser Antilles—they’re often very touristy and often don’t have much besides pretty beaches. The Caribbean is super-overrated, the Lesser Antilles, at least."

Luca's candid remarks are particularly striking, given the popularity of these destinations among travelers worldwide. Places like Greece, Spain, and France are typically top choices for vacationers, but Luca encourages people to think beyond the usual hotspots.

He’s also passionate about shedding light on lesser-known destinations that are often overlooked.

“Uzbekistan and some others in Central Asia, Baltic countries, Myanmar, North Macedonia, Bhutan, Montenegro, and most countries in Latin America,” he listed, highlighting regions that are frequently forgotten but offer rich experiences.

“People usually forget they exist, but they’re often way more exciting and more affordable than the 'classic tourism destinations'. Especially hidden gems like Bhutan and Myanmar. They are really unknown but some of the prettiest countries in the world.”

Despite his vast travel experience, Luca doesn’t shy away from naming the places he’s least likely to visit again. One country that he won’t be rushing back to is Belgium, which he described in particularly harsh terms.

“It just feels super unsafe at night, in my opinion—and I’m talking about Brussels here,” he said. “And many of the Belgian cities are pretty ugly as well. Grey and depressive, especially in winter.”

When it comes to his favorite destinations, Luca finds it hard to pick just one. He did, however, share some of his top picks:

“My favorite places overall—in no particular order: Mexico, Brazil, Israel, Spain, Bhutan, UK, UAE, Portugal, Austria.” These countries, he believes, offer unique experiences and are among the most rewarding places he’s visited.

Living the dream life of a travel content creator, Luca remains deeply appreciative of the opportunities his career has given him. “I enjoy my life as a content creator; otherwise, I would not do it. I love it. The freedom it gives me is insane, and I am very grateful to be able to travel for a living,” he explained.

Luca's insights provide a refreshing perspective on global travel, encouraging his followers to venture beyond the well-trodden paths and explore the hidden gems that the world has to offer.
