After All This Time We're Finally Getting a 'Monsters, Inc.' TV Show and You Should Be Pumped
Pixar was founded in 1986 and released its first feature film in 1995 and since then has seen incredible success with the following films with the assistance of their parent company, Disney.
Now along with the recent purchase of Fox, Disney is creating a streaming service called Disney+. This service will be filled with all the Disney properties existing films and shows and have also announced that their companies will create original shows for the service.
One of the shows that has been announced from Pixar is a 'Monsters Inc.' show titled 'Monsters at Work'. Here are the full information about this upcoming show.
This series marks the second expansion to the "Monsters" world following the release of 'Monsters University".
Unlike 'Monsters University' this series will pick up six months after the original film after the monster power source was changed to children's laughter.
It'll follow a character named Tylor Tuskmon (voiced by Ben Feldmen) who wishes to become a jokester like his idols, Sulley and Mike.
Speaking of Sulley and Mike, both of the characters will return for the series and they will be once again voiced by John Goodman and Billy Crystal.
Other returning characters include Yeti (John Ratzenberger) and Mike's love interest, Celia Mae (Jennifer Tilly).
New characters will be introduced too.
These include Tylor's best friend, Val Little (Kelly Marie Tran), an unpredictable boss named Fritz (Henry Winkler), an opportunistic plumber named Duncan (Lucas Neff), a coworker who strongly believes in the rules named Cutter (Alanna Ubach), Smitty and Needlemen (Stephen Scranton) a dimwitted seeming custodial team, Tylor's mom Millie Tuskmon (Aisha Tyler) and the twin sister of Roz (from 'Monsters Inc.') named Roze (Bob Peterson).
However, one character who is not yet confirmed to appear in the series is Boo.
No release dat is known for the series but it is believed to be released on Disney+ sometime in 2020.
