Capitalism can cause a lot of things that may only lead to further problems, such as environmental damage, inequality, and boom and bust economic cycles. People are barely making ends meet at a minimum wage, and they have a lot to go through just to be able to land a job that pays well for their necessities and wants.
These are all masked under a facade of development and progress, but it is also easy to look over and see that capitalism is harmful not only to the environment but to people of lower classes. Capitalism also does not give equal opportunities, and it is a testament to the fact that you can get yourself anywhere if you just have the money to do so.
