Don’t mess with birds - you might not like the consequences.
We all love birds, right? They are cute, fluffy, always chirping around and singing without a care in the world. Who wouldn’t love them? Creatures like this can’t be mean. Or can they?
Birds have a dark side, despite their beauty. Some of them have a dark side that leads them to do heinous acts like robbery, willful vandalism, and unpleasant aerial bombardment.
And the size of the bird doesn't have much to do with its temper. The African grey parrot, for example, is a selfless bird. Others, such as the adorable tiny Hummingbird, will not allow anybody near bird feeders. They claim it as their own territory, entirely closed off to all other species.
To be honest, some birds can be such jerks at times. Is it in their nature? Did you know that birds are distant relatives of the most notorious dinosaur ever- T-Rex? Now, did some of its natural “charm” rub off on them?
What else could explain these birds’ actions? Maybe they are just messing around with us, and they go off and brag about it to their friends. Perhaps they have get-togethers each evening and vote on whose accomplishment was the meanest? We can’t say, but we can say that we are so glad that we are below those birds’ radars. You don’t want to mess with them.
Perhaps you consider bald eagles to be noble, majestic masters of the skies. Well, we will have to disappoint you.
Other birds of prey would most likely agree with us. Bald eagles are such opportunists that they would rather steal prey from other birds or carrion from a vulture than go hunting themselves.
Canada geese and swans are definitely one of the meanest birds around. Canadian geese are notorious for their aggressive animal behavior and regularly attacking humans.
Although that can be attributed to the fact that people invade their space often. Swans are the same way: despite their grace and beauty, they will defend their young at any cost if someone comes close to them.
So next time you see birds, be careful not to annoy them. They've put up with us for too long, and now it's payback time.
