Insects are unquestionably the most amazing creatures on the planet. These beings never fail to astound us, whether it be with their vibrant colors or extraordinary shapes.

Speaking of colors, a certain man discovered a lovely insect in his garden, and he was nothing but astonished. Michael Farmer, a native of Costa Rica, has always had a deep love for nature.

He's always traveling the world in search of spectacular scenery and beautiful plants and animals, as evidenced by the Instagram images he posts. But nothing compares to his most recent finding.

Farmer recently discovered something quite odd while stumbling onto his land in Aguas Zarcas, Alajuela, Latin America. When he approached the object, which appeared to be a small coin-sized object gleaming under some foliage, he realized it was actually a living animal.

By chance, Farmer has just discovered one of the most amazing insects on the planet: the magnificent Chrysina limbata beetle, which is distinguished by its distinctive shell that resembles silver. The man has delicately placed the tiny, glistening creature on his hand to get a better look since he is so intrigued by his find.

Farmer said that he was incredibly amazed by how gorgeous it was.

" I just never ever seen anything like this in my entire life. It was like a mirror... definitely one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen."

He’s constantly exploring the world for breathtaking landscapes and stunning plants and animals

It turns out that these small creatures are equally as unusual and distinctive as they are rare. Although they used to be rather prevalent in Costa Rica and other South American nations, they are now only occasionally seen.

Farmer just came across one of the most incredible insects that live on Earth – a spectacular beetle known as Chrysina limbata

Their population has drastically decreased, primarily as a result of loss of habitat and individuals who catch and sell them to collectors.

Thankfully, the beetle Farmer discovered in his garden lived to see another day as the man put it back on the tree, and it quickly flew away.
