TikTok Goes Viral After Hotel Clerk Deals With A Male Version Of A Karen

TikTok is known for so many different things and it has a ton of creators that post things every single day. One big thing that people love TikTok for is that the posts go viral quite easily especially when crazy things happen and people start sharing them everywhere.
That's why if you need to film anything for proof, you probably should do it on TikTok. That's exactly what happened in this situation and this hotel clerk wanted to share the story of what she had to deal with when it came to this family staying at a hotel.
We see it a lot on social media where a worker is filming or a customer is filming an interaction between them because of whatever crazy situation is happening. Most of the time it's a clear situation where you can kind of tell which person is in the wrong.
In this situation, we can see where a hotel clerk talking to a man and his family as they talk about the reservations they had at the hotel. This situation stirred up a lot of comments after it was posted.

The famous video shows a hotel clerk who is talking to a man and his family.
The video starts off with the man saying "We have two kids, two adults, and the reservation on our phone is clear what we reserved. What do you expect us to do?"
The clerk begins explaining what they can do. She starts by saying "Well, with that one we could get you checked in as a king suite reservation, so it has a bed, a pull-out couch-"
She says all of this before being rudely cut off by the customer. He goes on to say "I understand, but what do you expect us to do? We have two kids and, we can't all sleep on a king bed that's ridiculous.
The clerk states that she understands but that the reservation was made through a third-party site which stated that they booked a king suite reservation.

The argument continued as he asks her what she expects them to do again. However, she explains that the Booking.com website sold them a reservation that they didn't necessarily have space for.
She begins by saying "We could either check you into the room or we could cancel the reservation. That's the only two options."
He replies, "And sleep in our car? Come on now."
She begins to speak again but he cuts her off saying "I mean where else are we gonna go? Are there any other Holiday Inn Express hotels that you can check us into?"
In response, she explains that she doesn't have the power to do that, but begins to tell him that yes, there are other Holiday Inn hotels in their area.
Clearly he was just unsatisfied with any answer.
He wasn't very happy about her response and continues to say "So you're not even going to help us, you're going to say take the room as it is or you're on your own?"
She continues with "What I can do to help you guys is get you guys checked into the room that has the king bed and sofa pull-out couch, but apart from that we don't have any other rooms to check you guys into."
She then continues to explain the Booking.com problem. "If it’s regarding what you guys reserved, you would have to call Booking.com so that they could assist you with something that happened on their end.
But this is just the information that we’ve received from Booking.com."
He asks one more time what rooms they have available with two beds, but clearly, her answer isn't enough for him.

BLooks like third party booking issues are the worst way to go.
GarciaHe begins to complain more and asks which room people haven't checked in yet, as if he can just steal someone else's room. She explains that they held the room they booked for them and that's the only one that's available.
He replies "How did you think that four people would fit in that room?"
She explains that they booked the reservation so they just put it in and that's as far as they got. He continues asking how this is supposed to work, but she basically just tells them that she didn't know how they'd "be set up in there."
Vancity MelissaThis is when someone else jumps in to give their opinion as they were a bystander to the conversation. The bystander continues with “I’m just stepping in, like, you have a king bed and a pull-out, right? You have two beds and four people."
The man was not too happy about that and responded with "Two kids and us. It’s none of your business, either. What are you doing jumping into this?”
The bystander continues with "I'm just saying there are two beds" but Daren didn't want to hear it and threatened him by saying "shut it or I'm gonna-"
The clerk eventually says that the customer isn't being very respectful and so she begins to cancel his reservation.
