Meredith and her siblings were only three weeks old when she was found outside in the rain with her siblings. They were wet, cold, and very sick. They were suffering from eye infections, parasites, and issues with the upper respiratory system when they arrived at Foster the Furbabies.
"Meredith was the runt of the litter, and we weren't sure if she or her siblings were even going to make it," Gianna Cirucci, co-founder of Foster the Furbabies, told the reporters. "Thankfully, they all thrived while in our care, but it definitely did not come easy for Meredith."
Foster the FurbabiesHer siblings healed quickly, but Meredith struggled with eye problems for a while. She had several different infections and required a lot of visits to the vet.
But, thanks to the love and care, she got her health back and was cleared for adoption. Her foster parents were thrilled with her recovery but also sad because they knew she would soon find a new home.
"She was one of the very first cats we had saved since starting our rescue, and she'll always be one of our favorites," Cirucci said.
After everything the poor kitty had been through, her foster parents wanted to do something special for her. So they decided to Starbucks for Puppuccino. Meredith loves food, so they felt she’d certainly appreciate the treat.
“She was always (and still is) extremely crazy when it comes to food,” Cirucci says. “She would try to eat anything and everything. If she smelled something I was eating, she would climb up my body and try to either eat the food out of my mouth or go face first on my plate. For being the runt of the litter, this girl had a HUGE appetite.”
“She automatically went head first into the cup, and we started recording her because it was a moment we never wanted to forget,” Cirucci says. “She had us laughing so hard, we were in tears and I was wheezing.”

Meredith was so excited that she simply couldn’t get enough. Her face was all covered with whipped cream, and even the staff at the drive-through was laughing.
“More of the pup cup got on her face than in her mouth and we cleaned her up directly after, but she definitely had a good time and enjoyed her treat,” Cirucci says “She kept trying to pull the cup back to her face and was so upset when we wouldn't let her have any more.”
They decided to share the video, and it instantly became a hit. Some people expressed concern about giving dairy to a kitten. Still, Meredith's foster parents calmed them by saying that they did their research and that it's perfectly fine to give dairy to a kitten from time to time.
A few days after this adorable episode took place, Meredith was adopted. She's doing well in her forever home, and she is still obsessed with food. Her rescuers are a bit sad their favorite tenant left, but they still have the video to remember her by.
