Meet Kit The Cat, A "Non-Cat Person" Converter, Making Cat-Haters People Fall In Love With Him

In addition to the long-running debate about whether cats or dogs are better pets, there is also the equally lasting controversial situation of whether people consider themselves cat persons or non-cat persons. But how can you really know if you are a cat person or not if you have never owned a cat?!

Take Jodie, for example, she always thought she was a non-cat person, but thanks to Kit the cat, Jodie quickly learned that she was terribly wrong. So, let’s dive deeper into the story.

One day Jodie went underneath the house to grab some horse stuff, but soon she discovered that she was not alone down there. In her basement, she found one abandoned freezing kitten.

When Jodie met Kit for the first time, she was just a tiny shivering kitten who needed care. "I'm not a cat person, so my plan was just to bottle-feed her until she's 6 weeks old", said Jodie, but at the time, she could not have imagined that Kit would catapult her into blissful motherhood.

Even though it was not love at first sight, because she was a non-cat person at the time, six weeks later, Jodie nevertheless decided to keep Kit. From then on, they are inseparable, and Jodie even takes Kit with her when she goes hiking.

As the cherry on top, Jodie thought it would be interesting to create a TikTok account and share the stages of her motherhood journey, and she was not wrong. People loved the endearing story, and by now, her TikTok account has more than 1.8m likes.

Take a look at the following pictures and videos to get the whole story. Enjoy this sweet story that will warm many hearts for sure.

“I had really good intentions of not getting attached. I was like, ‘Don’t get attached.

Don’t name her. She’s just ‘The Kitten.’

Then, she kind of turned into ‘The Kit.’ And then, she was Kit.

I was like, ‘Oh, you’re in trouble.'”, Jodie explained in one interview.

Kit became an international cat.

As Jodie got a business offer to move from Australia to Montana, she knew right away that Kit had to go with her. The overseas trip was not easy due global pandemic, but they somehow managed to arrange the whole thing, and now Jodie and Kit are united, and they enjoy each other's company.

“Animals have this amazing ability to make you smile on your darkest days and to make the good days even better. I hope that each and every one of you is able to experience the unconditional love and harassment that comes with having a ‘Kit’ in your life.”, said Jodie, and we couldn’t agree more.
