Your parents want the best for you. There's no doubt in that. That includes making sure you love what you do for a living. Some parents, however, care more about what THEY want you to do for a living, instead of what YOU love to do. And it's depressing to know that some parents aren't willing to support their child.
Many parents are dissatisfied with their kids' current careers. It's only natural for us *kids* to want our parents' approval.... even when we are legally adults already. But you know what, you need to separate your opinion from theirs. Many young adults have taken a career path that goes against the desires of their parents, and they succeed. So will you.
