Once a month, the daycare transformed into a hub of creativity and celebration. All teachers organized parties for their pint-sized charges, and OP was no exception.

As a monthly tradition, OP went above and beyond, turning otherwise mundane parties into an extraordinary affair. Fun themes, photo props, and loads of exciting games; they spared no expense to make it a memorable event. 

The financial toll was significant, but OP didn’t mind. They were ready to trade fancy dinners for rice and beans a few nights if it meant crafting unforgettable moments for their cherished students.

But this month, things were a little different. Graduation was on the horizon, so OP decided to opt for something more meaningful.

They settled on beautifully crafted graduation announcements, two for each child. OP would’ve never anticipated that this thoughtful gesture would set off a chain of disturbing events. 

A child’s mother waltzed in the following day, gushing about how lovely the announcements were. Everything was going well till she demanded more copies—18 to be precise.

OP explained two was all they could afford since the expense was from their personal budget, but the lady wasn’t having it. 

She even marched up to OP's manager to lay a complaint! Thankfully, their manager found the request ridiculous as well.

The child got pulled out over the pesky misunderstanding, but oh well. The road to good intentions was always paved with unexpected traps, after all.
