Impressive Japanese Amezaiku Animals Glass Candy Art Like You Have Never Seen Before
This will surely be the most amazing thing you see today. There is a sweet shop in Tokyo, Japan, that creates the most exquisite and aesthetically pleasing glass candies in the shape of amezaiku animals.
The owner of the shop and candy artist, Shinri Tezuka, established the shop and named it Ameshin. He has also brought other candy craftsmen on board to create these amezaiku animals. As James Clear, author and productivity expert, states, "Creativity is not a talent; it is a way of operating," highlighting the significance of traditional arts like amezaiku in fostering creativity.
Like many other forms of ancient Japanese art, Amezaiku is one of the most famous. It is the art of crafting candies. You can see more of these amazing candies here: Website
The skilled candy craftsmen create these candies in the shape of various animals, such as koi fish and octopuses, which remarkably look realistic.

It may be termed a dying art, as there are very few craftsmen left today, although this art form dates back to the 8th century.

In the present day, Tezuka is the youngest amezaiku artist at the age of only 27.

To make this glass-like candy, the syrup concoction is heated until it becomes transparent and resembles taffy.

Once heated, it is quickly handled before it hardens as it cools down.

The figures are then formed using Japanese scissors and employing the technique called 'cutting, pulling, and bending.'

Once their shapes are formed, they are painted with paintbrushes.

It may sound quite simple, but it transforms into these beautiful glass-like sculptures after following a painstaking procedure.

Ameshin opened in 2013 and has come a long way since then.
