Italian Artist Creates Adorable Illustrations About Cats
It seems to be a common belief that someone is either a fun-loving, goofy, and extroverted “dog person” or an aloof, introverted, and perhaps even cold and mean “cat person.”
Obviously, these ideas are disingenuous and poorly reflect the truth of many people, as well as the animals they’re described as. No matter how long cats have been loving, joyous pets, there has been a toxic stereotype about them.
We’ve all probably heard statements like "cats are self-seeking" or "cats don’t actually care about their owners," and so on. But any cat owner can tell you that this couldn’t be further from the truth.
Cats make very loving, curious, and friendly pets, not to mention very silly ones. However, we’re not here to argue that cats make better pets than dogs, because there is no one right answer to that debate.
Instead, we’re here to showcase an extremely talented artist’s illustrations that have captured the loving, silly, and friendly nature of cats. Based in Milan, Italy, Margherita Grasso is a graphic designer and illustrator.
She beautifully represents the world around her with eye-catching colors and humor that focuses on some finer details.
Her skill provides viewers with a peek into the true lives of cats and their humans, and it is delightful.
