Soap Opera Called "IKEA Heights" Is Special Because It's Filmed Inside IKEA Stores, And Employees Didn't Realize

Ikea Heights is a web series produced and filmed by Paul Bartunek and David Seger between 2009 and 2010. The interesting thing about it is that it was filmed entirely in an IKEA Store in Burbank, Ca.

And the amazing thing about it is that they managed to do it without the store management’s knowledge. This web series is hilarious, partly due to the exaggerated soap opera features, and partly due to the confused IKEA shoppers passing by.

So, if you need a good laugh, watching IKEA Heights is the best thing you could do for yourself. Take a look:

IKEA Heights has a classic soap opera scenario – unhappy marriages, extramarital affairs, devious plans, murders, lost brothers reappearing… Everything you need from a good daytime TV, but tightly packed into short episodes.

Great scenario, exaggerated soap opera features, convincing actors, and confused bystanders make this one of the best web series available. Too bad they didn’t make more episodes.
